Job Summary

Achieving True Self is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mobile Therapist to join our team of dedicated professionals. As a Mobile Therapist, you will be responsible for providing individual and family therapy sessions to clients in their homes, as well as in schools and community settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide child-centered, family-focused, individual, and family therapy sessions to clients assigned to your caseload.
  • Participate in team meetings, evaluations, and other collaborative efforts to support client progress.
  • Complete all required paperwork and documentation, including treatment plans, monthly reviews, clinical progress notes, and encounter forms.
  • Conduct ongoing assessments of client strengths and progress, with active participation from the child and family.
  • Collaborate with other members of the treatment team, professionals, and service systems to ensure comprehensive support.
  • Participate in supervision, internal training, and mentoring requirements to enhance professional growth and development.
  • Provide the prescribed number of hours to each client each week, while seeking additional training to promote professional growth and effective treatment.
  • Support and facilitate the success of clients and their families, while working within the framework of all policies and procedures of Achieving True Self.
Requirements
  • Licensed Psychologist, Professional Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist, or Clinical Social Worker.
  • Licensed Social Worker or Behavior Specialist with a Clinical/Mental Health graduate degree and practicum.
  • Graduate degree from an accredited program with a minimum of 9 credits in psychology, social work, or counseling, and a minimum of 1 year of experience providing mental health services to children.
  • Graduate degree with a Clinical/Mental Health service practicum and at least 9 credits in clinical psychology, social work, education, counseling, or a related field.
  • Comfortable working with all age ranges, with a strong desire to help clients develop and maximize their potential.
  • A valid driver's license with proof of car insurance and a good driving record is required.
  • Experience with autism is strongly preferred.
