As a Warehouse Operations Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient processing of member orders, maintaining accurate inventory levels, and upholding the highest standards of quality and safety.

About the Role

This position is responsible for performing various tasks, including picking orders from the sales floor, utilizing handheld scanners to verify merchandise counts and update locations, and operating equipment to build and shrink-wrap packages. You will also communicate with the club team to ensure timely replenishment of merchandise, maintain a safe and organized workspace, and adhere to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Responsibilities

  • Pull merchandise from a pick list and use handheld scanners to verify counts and update locations.
  • Build and shrink-wrap packages, move merchandise from sales floor to staging area, and operate equipment as needed.
  • Communicate with club team to ensure timely replenishment of merchandise and maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Adhere to established SOPs for BOPIC, Curbside, and Ship from Club processes.
  • Maintain a safe and organized workspace, handle damaged goods and spoiled products according to procedures, and perform general housekeeping duties.

Requirements

  • Previous order pulling experience preferred, but not required.
  • Big box/wholesale retail experience an asset.
  • RF scanner experience beneficial.

Working Conditions

This role requires most of the time spent moving about continuously on hard surfaces, with occasional need to position oneself to examine or scan merchandise, including bending, climbing, crawling, handling, pulling, reaching, and stooping. The job involves continuous lifting objects up to 30 pounds, with occasional heavy and/or awkward objects requiring assistance. Work is usually performed in a comfortable environment surrounded by moving machinery and/or loud equipment, with occasional exposure to temperature extremes and Company-approved cleaning agents.
