About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room team at StoneSprings Hospital Center. As a Registered Nurse in the OR, you will be responsible for circulating cases and providing excellent patient care.
Responsibilities
- Circulate cases as it relates to unit scope of care.
- Understand principles of aseptic technique and requirements for scrubbing cases as it relates to unit scope of care.
- Exercise sound judgement and decision-making skills on behalf of patient, self, and peers.
- Pursue own professional growth through continuing education and in-services.
- Communicate effectively with staff, peers, director, external and internal customers.
- Organize work to complete duties effectively and efficiently.
- Serve as a professional member of the OR team.
Requirements
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Registered Nurse.
- Registered Nurse Diploma.
- Full-time Operating Room position.
- Must have at least 1 year of OR experience.
