Infusion Paramedic Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Infusion Paramedic to join our team at The Remedy Mental Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care through the administration of IV infusions and IM injections under the supervision of a physician or nurse practitioner.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine suitability for infusion therapy, including reviewing medical history, current medications, and vital signs.
- Administer prescribed medications and therapies via IV infusion, following established protocols and dosage guidelines.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of all aspects of infusion therapy, including patient assessments, medication administration, vital signs, and any adverse events.
- Collaborate effectively with team members, including psychiatrists, therapists, and office staff, to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Monitor patient vital signs and provide medical intervention in emergency situations.
- Valid Paramedic Certification/License
- One year of IV starting experience
- Experience in a mental health care environment is preferred but not required
