Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Class A CDL driver to join our Frito Lay team. As a Regional Class A CDL Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor/trailer and transporting products to and from specified destinations in accordance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely operate a tractor/trailer and transport products to and from specified destinations
  • Load and unload trailers, including manual and palletized loading/unloading
  • Transport chips, dips, and other products to and from large grocery stores, Frito Lay manufacturing facilities, and other traffic centers
  • Obtain signature of receipt, pick up returns, and complete logs and other paperwork related to deliveries
  • Use an electronic logging device to track hours and miles
  • Communicate with customers, sales drivers, and dispatch to ensure smooth delivery operations
  • Perform pre- and post-trip truck inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance
Requirements
  • Valid Class A CDL license
  • At least 100,000 verifiable accident-free miles or more than 2,500 accident-free hours
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays
  • Ability to lift 15 to 50 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time with or without a reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to repeatedly lift, carry, push, pull, and handle products with or without a reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time, up to five hours daily, with or without a reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to work up to 14 hours a day and drive a tractor trailer for extended periods of time, up to 11 hours per day, with or without a reasonable accommodation
What We Offer
  • Average yearly pay is $98,000 average 2023. $100,000+ range for 2024.
  • $1,500 Referral, safety up to $400 per year.
