Travel MRI Technologist Position

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic MRI Technologist to join our team at Focus Staff. As a travel MRI Technologist, you will have the opportunity to work in various locations across the country, providing high-quality diagnostic services to patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes.
  • Perform patient studies according to set protocol, including placing specified coils close to the area of interest.
  • Interview patients to explain magnetic resonance imaging procedures and address their concerns.
  • Ensure patient and staff safety by explaining safety protocols and monitoring patients via closed-circuit TV.
  • Orient new hires and train MRI Technologists, students, and trainees.

Requirements:

  • Have two years of regular experience as a MRI Technologist and be fully proficient in all duties required of a MRI Technologist II.
  • License in the required state.
  • BLS.
  • Must be fully proficient in MRI and have knowledge of required protocols in performing complex MRI procedures.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other incumbents of the organization.
  • Ability to learn applications relevant to the position.
