Job DescriptionMachinists Incorporated is seeking a skilled Sales/Estimator to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for working with new and existing customers to provide machining and fabrication solutions that meet their needs.Responsibilities:
  • Work with cross-functional teams to determine cost and production procedures for tooling, parts, and fabrication.
  • Coordinate with customers on prototype development and production needs.
  • Collaborate with our gear division on gears and gearbox projects.
  • Use CAD/CAM software to determine proper dimensioning and accurate pricing.
  • Bring innovative ideas and solutions to both our team and our customers.
Qualifications / Skills:
  • At least 5 years of experience in precision machining and welding, with gears and gearbox knowledge a plus.
  • Experience reading complex drawings and understanding of geometric tolerances.
  • 2+ years of knowledge in accurately bidding and producing high-tolerance machines and fabrication tooling and assemblies.
  • Understanding of planning machine work and managing contracts.
  • Excellent communication skills, both in person and through computer software and programs.
