Cook Children's is hiring a Clinical Specimen Collector to join our team. This role comes with an estimated salary of $60,000 - $75,000 per year, depending on experience.

About the Job:

The Clinical Specimen Collector will collect and process various laboratory specimens from patients in an outpatient setting. They will also interact with patients, staff, and physicians to ensure smooth specimen collection and processing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and process laboratory specimens from patients
  • Interact with patients, staff, and physicians to ensure smooth specimen collection and processing
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information and specimen collection
  • Ensure specimen integrity during transport and processing

Requirements:

  • High School graduate or GED required
  • Minimum one year phlebotomy experience, pediatric experience preferred
  • Phlebotomy certification preferred but not required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
