Job Summary

Smith College is seeking a talented and dedicated Assistant Professor of Neuroscience to join our faculty. As a key member of our Neuroscience Program, you will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students, conducting research, and contributing to the department's mission.

Responsibilities
  • Teach and develop courses in neuroscience, including introductory and advanced courses
  • Conduct research in neuroscience, including experimental methods and computational analysis
  • Mentor and advise students in research projects
  • Contribute to departmental service and committee work
Requirements

We are seeking a candidate with a PhD in Neuroscience or a related field, with a strong background in neuroscience research and teaching. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated ability to teach and mentor students, as well as a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in science.
