Job Summary: As a Sales Associate/Cashier, your primary responsibility is to drive sales by consistently providing our customers with world-class customer service. This includes:
- Putting Customers First: Ensure each customer receives outstanding service and support.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain awareness of all promotions and advertisements, and provide this information to customers.
- Operational Goals: Execute daily operational goals and priorities assigned by store management.
- Continuous Learning: Continually work on increasing knowledge of the products we sell and their uses.
- Merchandising Skills: Demonstrate competence in all services offered to our customers, including keys, paint, screens, rental items, and more.
Requirements:
- Education: High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Product Knowledge: Possess knowledge of hardware-related products and a willingness to learn.
- Experience: Trade skills accompanied by a personality that supports our Core Values and mission are a plus, but we'll train you.
- Skills/Knowledge: A commitment to service excellence and customer satisfaction, solid team player with excellent interpersonal skills, and ability to work flexible hours.
Physical Requirements:
- Lifting: Must be able to lift 40 pounds frequently to load and unload customer orders.
- Standing: Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Communication: Ability to hear, understand, and communicate orally and in writing to communicate with staff and customers.
- Mobility: Ability to bend, twist, push, pull, stoop, and kneel, ascend and descend ladders, and work at heights.
