Child Welfare Case Coordinator

The Child Welfare Case Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting children and their families who have been placed in out-of-home care through the judicial system.
This position is responsible for crafting and executing permanency plans for children under the care of the Children's Division.
The Child Welfare Case Coordinator reports directly to the Child Welfare Case Coordinator Supervisor.
Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in behavioral sciences or a related field is required.
This role is based out of our Springfield, MO office, and offers a hybrid work model with remote options. Most work hours will be spent in the field, with 1-3 days in the office designated for supervision and essential meetings.
Our foster care initiative serves children and adolescents, from newborns to age 18, who have been removed from their parents' custody due to instances of abuse or neglect.
Child welfare case coordinators are tasked with providing, coordinating, and facilitating all necessary services to achieve the permanency goals for the children in care. Responsibilities include conducting safety and needs assessments, securing resources, arranging transportation and visitation, preparing court reports, and authorizing funds for family services.
Applicants must be at least 21 years old. A pre-employment drug screening, physical examination, and background check are mandatory.
