Aya Locums is seeking a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our team for a 13-week locum tenens assignment in Angola, IN. This opportunity offers a competitive hourly rate of $195-$205 per hour.
Responsibilities- Anesthesia Administration: Prepare and administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
- Patient Care: Provide comprehensive patient care before, during, and after surgery, including monitoring vital signs and responding to emergencies.
- Diagnostic and Therapeutic Procedures: Participate in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including trauma stabilization and critical care interventions.
- Pain Management: Diagnose and deliver acute and chronic pain management to patients.
- Professional Development: Stay current with new techniques, technology, and medications related to anesthesia practice.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and complete patient records and documentation.
- Active RN License: Possess an active and unencumbered registered nurse (RN) license in the state of employment.
- No Flagged Licenses: Ensure no flagged or under investigation licenses.
- Employer Review: The employer will review your Aya Locums profile and compare it against the job qualifications.
- Clinical Expertise: Demonstrate clinical expertise and technical proficiency in administering anesthesia.

- BSN Degree: Possess a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
- MSN or DNP Degree: Hold a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) from an accredited CRNA program (DNP required as of 2025).
- Certification: Be certified by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
- CME Requirements: Maintain continued medical education (CME) to meet NBCRNA certification and medical licenses requirements.
