DevOps Engineer

First Citizens Bank is seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our applications and infrastructure.

• Design and implement deployment pipelines using Azure
• Configure and set up monitoring and alert mechanisms using Dynatrace and SolarWinds
• Analyze application issues and automate manual processes
• Improve operational processes through automation and issue resolution
• Implement best practices in operations across multiple applications
• Provide regular progress updates

• Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of experience in Application software programming OR High School Diploma or GED and 6 years of experience in Application software programming
• Preferred Area of Study: Computer Science
• Preferred skills and experience:
  • Experience in DevOps and BAU and Application Support
  • Knowledge of scripting languages Python, PowerShell, JavaScript
  • Experienced in Azure Devops, Git, TFS, Jira, Release Management
  • Experienced in Dynatrace, SolarWinds, or other Job monitoring tools
  • Experienced in IT service Management process and tools such as ServiceNow
  • Deployment Pipeline set up
  • Understanding of Jfrog and Nuget Package management
  • Understands SDLC and Automation
  • Knowledge of reporting tools such as Tableau
• Additional skills:
  • Excellent Collaboration and Communication Skills
  • Must be able to resolve conflicts efficiently
  • Multi-tasker, good organizational skills
  • Critical thinker
  • Banking domain experience is a plus
