ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Fiber Splicer Technician, you will be essential to our operations. You will represent our company by maintaining high standards in your work. Your responsibilities will include scheduled cable installations, splicing, fiber terminations, and maintaining fiber optic systems. Your ability to interpret complex installation diagrams will be crucial as you test, certify, and document installations.

Attention to detail is vital as you troubleshoot and resolve minor technical issues. You will perform your duties safely, both indoors and outdoors, utilizing the appropriate safety equipment. Accurate documentation of all fiber optic work and maintenance activities is required. You will enjoy interacting with customers and providing them with exceptional service.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2-4+ years of relevant experience
  • Willingness to travel
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • This role is safety-sensitive

Experience in copper splicing is preferred, and telecommunications certifications are a plus. Strong customer service and problem-solving skills, along with exceptional attention to detail and analytical abilities, are essential for success in this position.

WORK SCHEDULE

This full-time role typically operates Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM, with occasional weekend and evening work required. Travel may also be necessary.
