Activity Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Activity Therapist to join our team at Windsor Laurelwood Behavioral Health. As a key member of our multidisciplinary treatment team, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and leading art therapy, music therapy, or recreational therapy activities on all units.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with behavioral health problems
- Lead art therapy, music therapy, or recreational therapy activities on all units
- Work with patients to assess their abilities and formulate treatment plans
- Document all services provided and maintain accurate records
- Minimum bachelor's degree in Music Therapy, Therapeutic Recreation, or master's degree in Art Therapy
- Certification by profession's credentialing board (either art, music, recreational therapy)
- Previous healthcare experience in one of the above disciplines preferred
