Position Overview: Addiction Medicine Physician
Provider Healthcare is seeking a qualified Addiction Medicine Physician to fulfill a vital role in our organization. This position focuses on delivering high-quality care in a supportive and trauma-informed setting, emphasizing evidence-based methodologies to assist individuals in overcoming substance use challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive medical care to patients dealing with substance use disorders.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create individualized treatment plans.
- Ensure adherence to best practices in psychiatric and addiction treatment.
Qualifications:
- Possession of a valid and unrestricted Physician's License in California (MD or DO) with specialization in psychiatry and/or addiction medicine.
- Current DEA certification.
- A minimum of five years of post-licensure experience in intensive psychiatric and addiction treatment environments.
Preferred Credentials:
- Board Certification in Psychiatry and/or Addiction Medicine.
- Experience in a leadership role within a psychiatric or addiction treatment facility.
