Job Title: Survivor Advocate

We are seeking a passionate Survivor Advocate to join our team at Battered Women's Shelter. This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week, with an estimated salary of $52,000 - $62,000 per year.

About the Role:

The Survivor Advocate will provide confidential services to survivors including case management services, crisis intervention, safety planning, and follow-up support as needed. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of trauma-informed care and be able to deliver services in a compassionate and non-judgmental manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide confidential services to survivors including case management services, crisis intervention, safety planning, and follow-up support
  • Deliver comprehensive case management services to support survivors and their families
  • Collaborate with community partners to provide resources and referrals
  • Provide crisis intervention and safety planning as needed
Requirements:
  • Four-year degree in social work, counseling, criminal justice or related field preferred
  • At least 2 years of case management experience required
  • Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistance certification highly preferred
