Dentistry Professor

We are seeking a highly skilled Dentistry Professor to join our team at Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences.

The successful candidate will provide clinical and classroom instruction in oral and maxillofacial surgery to pre-doctoral dental students at our community-based clinics. Academic rank will be awarded based on clinical and academic experience.

• Provides classroom and clinical instruction in oral and maxillofacial surgery
• Performs other related duties as assigned and based on departmental needs

• Required: DMD/DDS degree
• Required: Minimum 6 years of clinical practice or teaching experience
• Required: Specialty Certification in oral and maxillofacial surgery from a CODA-accredited program
• Preferred: Board certification in oral and maxillofacial surgery is desired
• Preferred: Academic/clinical teaching experience
• Required: Licensure and specialty certification in oral and maxillofacial surgery in Washington State
• Preferred: Clinical skills experience

Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences (PNWU) was founded as a 501(c)(3) non-profit medical institution in 2005 aimed at increasing access to health care in medically underserved areas of the Pacific Northwest.

We currently offer degrees in Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine, Doctor of Physical Therapy, Master of Arts in Medical Science, and Master of Science in Occupational Therapy, enrolling over 550 students annually with plans to develop other programs and/or colleges. Interprofessional education partnerships with other universities add another 100 students to our population.

• A competitive salary ranging from $158,300 to $301,550 per year, commensurate with qualifications and experience
