We are seeking a skilled Scopist to join our dynamic legal transcription team at Tisa Legal Media LLC. As a leading firm in legal services, we uphold the highest standards of accuracy and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Review and edit rough draft transcripts to ensure accuracy and adherence to formatting standards.
- Utilize industry-standard software to correct errors in spelling, punctuation, grammar, and legal terminology.
- Manage multiple transcription projects simultaneously, maintaining strict adherence to deadlines without compromising quality.
- Collaborate with transcriptionists, proofreaders, and legal professionals to ensure transcript integrity.
- Interpret and apply complex legal transcription guidelines and client specifications to each document.
- Excellent listening skills and high proficiency in English grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
- Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Keen attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proven experience as a Scopist, preferably within the legal transcription industry.
- Familiarity with legal terminology and a strong understanding of the legal transcription process and document formats.
- Proficient in using transcription software, with a strong ability to adapt to new technologies.
