Position Title: Pastry Cook

Compensation: Competitive pay starting at $18.00 per hour.

Job Summary: The Pastry Cook is responsible for the creation, planning, and oversight of high-quality pastries, desserts, and baked goods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily production and distribution of all pastry items, ensuring quality and consistency.
  • Adhere to established recipes and standards while managing food costs and production quantities.
  • Maintain proper food handling, presentation, and serving temperatures to ensure quality service.
  • Ensure the pastry kitchen and equipment are maintained in accordance with health and safety regulations.
  • Supervise and mentor kitchen staff, including hiring, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of seasonal menu offerings.
  • Manage inventory levels by ordering and maintaining necessary pastry supplies.
  • Perform additional duties as required to support the team.
