We are currently seeking a Scientific Research Associate for our esteemed client, a prominent player in the pharmaceutical sector. This role is intended for candidates located in the Seattle area.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess a B.S. degree in Chemical/Biological Engineering, Immunology, Biology, or a related scientific field, coupled with experience in the biotechnology or cell therapy sectors. Familiarity with aseptic techniques in mammalian or primary cell culture within a biological safety cabinet is essential.
Work Location: Seattle, WA
Compensation: $33-35/hour W2
Key Responsibilities:
- Preferred experience in GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
- Primary duties include the development and execution of essential raw material testing protocols to support engineered T-cell programs, as well as commercial and clinical manufacturing.
- Delivering high-quality work and timely results in a cellular therapeutic manufacturing environment is crucial.
- Conduct routine cell culture experiments following established procedures, with the ability to identify deviations from accepted practices.
- Assist in the design and formulation of material testing plans, pinpointing critical process parameters and troubleshooting as necessary.
- Perform data analysis to determine process criticality, presenting findings and study results in team meetings.
- Prepare timely reports detailing experimental work and summarizing outcomes, while maintaining electronic laboratory notebooks.
- Contribute to the revision and creation of process documentation, including SOPs and electronic work instructions.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure the smooth operation of the laboratory on a daily basis.
- Maintain laboratory spaces in compliance with regulatory standards and ensure a safe working environment.
- Exhibit excellent documentation and data management capabilities.
- Demonstrate proficiency in common software tools such as word processing, spreadsheets, and web-based applications.
- Show the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting, prioritizing tasks across multiple projects.
