Job Overview

UC Health is seeking a part-time Radiologic Technologist for the Pain Management Clinic, specifically for the first shift at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center.

As a Radiologic Technologist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Pain Management Clinic by assisting in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Your responsibilities will include producing high-quality diagnostic radiographs of the human body while exercising independent judgment to ensure compliance with established protocols.

Communicate effectively with patients and staff, adapting to their diverse needs. Conduct diagnostic procedures by reviewing patient histories, explaining processes, and adhering to safety protocols. Ensure safety for both patients and staff by providing protective equipment and managing exposure levels appropriately. Evaluate images for diagnostic quality and maintain accurate records and quality control measures. Prepare and administer contrast media under physician supervision, practicing sterile techniques to prevent infection. Engage in ongoing education related to Radiologic Technology and its subspecialties. Qualifications

An Associate's degree is required. 1 to 3 years of relevant experience is preferred. Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and a current state license are mandatory.

The expected salary range for this position is between $24.78/hr. and $30.64/hr., with actual compensation dependent on various factors such as experience and skills.
