Job Title: Resident Aide

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Resident Aide to join our team at Sheldon Meadows Assisted Living Center. As a Resident Aide, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, promoting a sense of belonging and well-being.
  • Assist with light housekeeping duties, such as making beds, changing linens, and cleaning living areas.
  • Participate in Life Enrichment Events, leading activities or assisting residents to attend.
  • Follow resident service plans and report any changes in condition or needs.
  • Practice safe and sanitary hygiene, using proper techniques for chemical and cleaning solutions.
  • Report any unusual incidents or emergencies, acting quickly and responsibly.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations.
  • Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner.
