Position Overview: The Licensed Practical Nurse plays a vital role in delivering nursing care at a DCI in-center hemodialysis facility as a member of a collaborative patient care team.
Work Schedule: Full-time, consisting of four 10-hour shifts commencing at 5:00 AM; Sundays off; no overnight shifts.

Key Responsibilities:
- Function under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Deliver nursing care throughout patient assessments, initiation and termination of treatments; monitor patients during and after treatment; and collect necessary laboratory samples.
- Evaluate and monitor patient access, intervening as necessary.
- Adhere to the clinic's infection control protocols.
- Understand water treatment concepts and their implications for patient care.
- Effectively communicate with the charge nurse regarding any changes in patient conditions.
- Comply with the clinic's risk management strategies.
- Administer medications and educate patients about them, within the scope of practice.
- Participate in mandatory training and staff meetings to enhance and maintain skills.
