Job Description

Famous Supply is a wholesale distributor committed to serving contractors, builders, and remodelers in the HVAC, Plumbing, Building Products, Lighting, and Industrial/PVF segments.

We are seeking a skilled Material Handler to join our team in the Pipe Shop. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for handling rooftops, steel, copper, and PVC pipe, flat stock sheet metal material, and other products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring product is handled with care to prevent damage
  • Attention to detail to ensure warehouse tasks are done accurately
  • Keeping warehouse clean, neat, and organized

Requirements:

  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand on feet for majority of an 8 hour day
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Forklift experience
  • Building industry experience and requisite product knowledge
  • Experience working in a warehouse
  • Experience using RF Scanners
