Job Description:

As a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and supporting the pharmacy team in delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Interact with customers, answering questions and providing information on medications and health-related topics.
  • Process prescriptions, handle cash transactions, and maintain accurate records.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on pharmacy procedures and regulations.
  • Collaborate with the pharmacy team to achieve goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; PTCB certification a plus.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and medications.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
