Key Responsibilities
  • Read and modify detailed engineering drawings and prints to adjust, test, and repair equipment.
  • Enter data in SAP PM (Plant maintenance) and program and troubleshoot PLC, robotics, and vision systems.
  • Troubleshoot automation manufacturing equipment and pneumatic systems, as well as servo drives.
  • Interface with suppliers for maintenance parts and understand and apply engineering specifications, Change Orders, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
  • Support daily production requirements and engineering project-related activities.
Requirements
  • 3 to 5 years of Electrical Maintenance experience preferred.
  • Good Mechanical aptitude and basic component and assembly process knowledge.
  • 1 to 3 years of Robotic experience preferred, as well as experience with Cognex, Banner, Allen Bradley, and Keyence automation equipment.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and have basic reading, writing, and verbal skills.

All employees on the production floor must wear the necessary personal production equipment (PPE).

Physical Demands

As an Electronics Controls Engineer Technician, you are regularly required to stand, walk, lean, push, climb, sit, bend, kneel, stoop, handle, and operate tools or controls for the length of your entire shift.

The employee needs full range of motion in their arms and hands in this position. All Electronics Controls Engineer Technicians must be able to successfully communicate with fellow employees as well.

Some Electronics Controls Engineer Technicians also work in small spaces throughout their shift and frequently lift and/or carry objects up to 50 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus, along with good hand-eye coordination.

Weekend work will be required for some project work.
