POSITION SUMMARY
The Quality Control Specialist is essential in guaranteeing that all products and processes adhere to established quality benchmarks. Key responsibilities encompass evaluating incoming products against defined criteria, documenting quality assessments, and swiftly reporting any quality-related concerns to the warehouse management, in alignment with company policies and procedures.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Adhere to quality assurance protocols to ensure alignment with recognized standards and regulations.
- Conduct thorough inspections of all incoming products based on their specification documentation.
- Participate in ongoing training related to quality assurance practices and policies.
- Work collaboratively with management to confirm that all products fulfill customer specifications and expectations.
- Ensure all tasks are performed in accordance with applicable statutory, regulatory, and safety standards.
- Execute product storage procedures to guarantee proper inventory rotation.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as directed by the immediate supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior experience in a warehouse setting or general quality inspection knowledge is advantageous.
PREFERRED SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES
- Experience in Quality Control or a related discipline.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with a proven capacity to collaborate effectively across various departments.
- Competence in using computers and software applications.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This role necessitates frequent activities such as sitting, standing, typing, lifting, and carrying. Employees may occasionally need to utilize ladders, navigate stairs or ramps, crouch, kneel, stoop, and perform tasks requiring both fine and gross motor skills. The position may also involve the occasional use of foot controls, pushing, pulling, and reaching, including overhead tasks. The ability to lift, carry, push, and pull heavy items is essential.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position primarily involves indoor work. While executing job responsibilities, employees may occasionally encounter heavy machinery.
