About You

We're seeking a highly skilled and compassionate individual to join our team as a Hospice Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). As a CNA with Gentiva, you'll have the opportunity to work closely with patients and their families, providing personalized care and support in the home setting. This is a rewarding role that requires a strong sense of empathy, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality care.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing basic care to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. They will also assist with light housekeeping tasks, prepare and serve meals, and provide emotional support to patients and their families. Additionally, the CNA will be required to document patient information accurately and attend regular staff meetings.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess a current CNA license and at least six months of patient care experience in a hospice, home health, ICU, geriatric, or oncology setting. A driver's license and automobile insurance are also required. Preferred qualifications include experience working in hospice care and completion of a nurse aide training program.
