Job Summary

Cynet Health is seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Operating Room Nurse to join our team for a travel assignment. As a CVOR nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced operating room environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' medical status upon admission and throughout their treatment course.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for assigned patients.
  • Assess, plan, and evaluate nursing care for patients before, during, and after surgical procedures.
  • Participate in sedation of patients and assist physicians during procedures by administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and applying dressings.
  • Ensure sterile procedures are followed throughout surgery, necessary equipment and medications are available for the operating room team, and record progress and outcomes of surgical procedures.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current licensure in good standing.
  • Evidence of current AHA BLS and ACLS certification (preferred but not required).
  • At least one year of experience in a cardiovascular operating room setting.
