Position Overview:
We are looking for a Senior Software Developer to enhance our expanding Software Development team. The selected candidate will play a key role in the design, development, and deployment of MacStadium's virtualization and orchestration products. Key responsibilities will include full-stack architecture, infrastructure automation, API and services development, as well as testing and delivery of software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize Swift extensively to develop features for our Orka Desktop product and Orka Engine agent.
  • Engage in full-stack development, working with technologies ranging from Swift UI to the MacOS Virtualization Framework.

Technical Skills Required:

  • Proficiency in Swift and Objective C
  • Understanding of BSD/XNU internals
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Ansible, and Terraform
  • Familiarity with Go, JavaScript, Node, and Docker
  • Knowledge of JSON, CSS, HTML5, and React
  • Experience with NoSQL and SQL databases
  • Linux proficiency (Ubuntu, Fedora, CentOS, CoreOS)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and Agile development practices
  • Networking knowledge, including DNS, TCP/IP, and load balancing

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience, with at least 3-5 years in relevant technical skills
  • Experience with Agile methodologies
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment
