Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team at Coating and Converting Technologies LLC. As a Material Handler, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
  • Receive, unpack, inspect, and store incoming materials and supplies, documenting any damages or discrepancies
  • Packages, bands, and stretch wraps outgoing shipments according to company procedures and customer requirements
  • Weigh materials after production to ensure they meet standard requirements
  • Load and unload trucks and slitters, maintaining a safe and efficient workflow
  • Daily organization of adhesive storage room and raw material warehouse, maintaining a clean and organized work environment
  • Operate a forklift and machinery throughout the shift, adhering to safety protocols and procedures
  • Support safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives, participating in regular training and meetings
  • Assist and support other team members in meeting department and site goals, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment
Requirements
  • High school diploma, GED, trade school, or combination of training and experience
  • 3+ years of relevant manufacturing experience, preferably in a Material Handler or similar role
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines
  • Able to work overtime, including short-notice requests, and adapt to changing priorities
  • Motivated, takes initiative, and possesses a strong work ethic, with a focus on quality and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask within a structured environment, maintaining accuracy and efficiency
  • Extraordinary organization skills, strong time management skills, and exceptional communication skills
  • Ability to follow electrical schematics and drawings, with a focus on safety and quality
  • Possess the highest standards of accuracy and attention to detail in a dynamic, multitasking environment
  • Capacity to work with limited supervision, independently, and as a team member, with a focus on collaboration and problem-solving
