ROLE OBJECTIVE:

  • Establish and execute daily production goals, task assignments, and operational sequences in line with manufacturing targets.
  • Collaborate with First Shift supervisors to ensure seamless work transitions.
  • Organize employee schedules for maximum efficiency.
  • Clearly communicate job responsibilities to the production workforce.
  • Oversee material requirements to reduce operational interruptions.
  • Refine policies to boost production efficiency and uphold quality standards.
  • Streamline project workflow stages for enhanced productivity.
  • Tackle quality challenges and implement proactive solutions.
  • Maintain stringent quality standards throughout production activities.
  • Offer technical assistance to the production team as needed.
  • Handle personnel issues on the production floor effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

KEY COMPETENCIES:

  • Experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred.

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Technical degree preferred or a minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing.
  • At least 2 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or plant environment.

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

Physical Demands:

Activities: Sitting – 30%, Walking/Standing – 70%

Lifting: Frequently lift up to 30 lbs; occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.

Vision: Prolonged periods of close work on computer screens and the ability to see small items.

Mental Demands: Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Work Environment: Climate-controlled office space with exposure to outdoor conditions such as cold, heat, noise, and dust.
