Job Summary

We are seeking a Caregiver/Patient Care Technician to join our team at Sacred Heart Pediatric After-Hours at Pace. As a member of our care team, you will provide direct patient care, administer prescribed medications, and maintain related medical records under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN)/(LVN).

Responsibilities
  • Administer prescribed medications to patients and maintain related medical records.
  • Present medication to patients and observe ingestion or administer medication using specified procedures.
  • Take vital signs or observe patients to detect response to medication and report reactions.
  • Restock medication inventories.
  • Provide direct patient care and ensure resident safety by identifying safety hazards and emergency situations.
