Position SummaryAlderwood Landscaping is in search of a talented individual to fulfill the role of Mechanic, Welder, and Truck Driver. This position demands a well-rounded professional who can adeptly manage the maintenance, repair, and welding of various heavy machinery, trucks, and trailers. In addition, you will be responsible for the transportation of equipment and materials to various job sites.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical issues.
- Perform welding repairs as needed.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation of work performed.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and standards.
The primary machinery includes Bobcat Excavators, Skid Steers, 14k Dump Trailers, and Ford F-350 Flatbed trucks. A CDL is not required for this position.
Ideal CandidateThe successful candidate will possess strong technical skills and a solid understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulic systems, welding techniques, and truck/trailer operations. A passion for problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality work in a collaborative environment are essential.
Compensation and BenefitsCompensation: $25 - $35/hr, DOE
Benefits: Health Care, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, 401k, and Paid Time Off.
Signing Bonus: A total of $1,000, distributed as two $250 bonuses after 90 and 180 days, plus a $500 bonus at 9 months of employment.
