Surgical Nurse Specialist

At Williamson Health, we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our surgical team. As a Registered Nurse in our surgical department, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive assessments on patients to identify their needs and develop individualized care plans
Implement and coordinate patient care plans, including administering medications and treatments as needed
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information
Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest medical procedures and technologies
Requirements
Earned a nursing diploma or degree from a college or university
Licensed in the State of Tennessee
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of hire
Additional certifications may be required based on unit or department
Work Environment
Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a team of dedicated healthcare professionals
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care
Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest medical procedures and technologies
Physical Demands
Prolonged standing and working for up to 12 hours a day
Ability to lift with assistance up to 250 pounds
Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
