We are seeking a highly skilled clinical pharmacist to join our team at UCHealth UCHlth Longs Peak Hospital in Longmont, CO. This role is responsible for providing top-of-scope pharmacy support using evidence-based protocols and best practices to promote patient safety.

Salary Information:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $65,645 - $98,085, based on the provided hourly rate of $50.76 - $76.14.

About the Role:

  • This clinical pharmacist will prioritize wellness, patient perspective, and evidence-based practice, modeling proficiency through precepting and mentoring those new to healthcare.
  • They will welcome new knowledge in a fast-paced, innovative clinical environment, contributing proactively to solutions securing safety and quality at the point of care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure medications are prescribed, accurately dispensed, and administered according to best practices.
  • Provide drug information and counseling to patients and caregivers regarding medication use, accurate dosage, potential side effects, and administration instructions.
  • Stay current with updated medication formularies, new drug therapies, treatment protocols, and emerging medical research through continuous professional development and clinical education.
  • Communicate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to facilitate collaborative care ensuring optimal outcomes.
