Obstetrician-Gynecologist Physician Opportunity

AdvantageCare Physicians P.C. - Brooklyn is seeking a skilled Obstetrician-Gynecologist Physician to join our team in providing high-quality outpatient care to our patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in obstetrics and gynecology, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care to patients, including routine check-ups, prenatal care, and surgical procedures.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and advancements in the field of obstetrics and gynecology.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or foreign equivalent.
  • Completion of four-year postgraduate medical training from an accredited residency program in obstetrics and gynecology.
  • Board Eligible/Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
  • Current, unrestricted New York State license or eligibility for licensure.
  • Active Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration or eligibility for registration.
  • Active Medicare/Medicaid Enrollment or eligibility to enroll.
  • BLS or ACLS certification required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable with EPIC Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system and Microsoft Office.
  • Laparoscopically trained.

Procedures may include but are not limited to: Biopsy (cervical, endometrial, skin, vaginal, vulvar), cystoscopy, colposcopy, insertion and removal of subdermal contraception, IUD placement, Intrauterine Pressure Catheter Placement, Ultrasound and surgery, laparoscopic, and open procedures as well as cesarean sections are performed.

This compensation range is specific and considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education/training, internal peer equity, and market and business considerations. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the work is being performed. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range, as compensation decisions depend on each case's facts and circumstances. Union roles covered by a collective bargaining agreement will compensate in accordance with the union contract.
