Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced IT Director to lead our data engineering team at Keller Schroeder. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and expertise in designing and implementing complex data solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide best practices for data architecture, strategy, and tactics for complex data solutions.
  • Leverage expertise in programming languages such as Python, Scala, and TypeScript to build data lakes and data engineering pipelines.
  • Lead technical teams in designing and implementing process improvements, including automating manual processes, optimizing data flow, and increasing scalability.
  • Collaborate with offshore development teams to assign and coordinate work performed between teams and project requirements.

Requirements:

  • 8 years of IT experience with 3 years of lead experience, including working with offshore teams.
  • Experience in ETL design and architecting microservices.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Scala, TypeScript, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS.
