Warehouse Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Technician to join our team. As a Warehouse Technician, you will be responsible for cleaning, repairing, troubleshooting, moving, disassembling, reassembling, and preparing gaming, amusement, and related equipment for field deployment or decommissioning in accordance with Accel Entertainment Gaming and Illinois Gaming Board specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Move and transport gaming equipment between warehouse storage, equipment preparation areas, and transport trucks
• Disassemble and reassemble gaming equipment, including slot machines, ticket redemption machines, and amusement devices
• Inspect, test, troubleshoot, clean, and perform repairs on gaming equipment and related parts
• Install and remove locks on gaming equipment
• Identify and communicate inventory needs for equipment to ensure minimal downtime and quick turnaround of product
• Observe all safety regulations and report unsafe conditions to management
• Follow all department, company, and state policies and procedures

Requirements

• 2 years of electronic technical training preferred
• 2 years of slot technician/video gaming terminal, ATM, or amusement equipment experience, including installation, maintenance, and repair of electronic systems and equipment preferred
• Must demonstrate an ability to understand basic electronic theory and mechanics
• Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, test equipment, and instruments
• Able to obtain forklift certification and use non-powered dollies, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow
• Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees
• Versatility and willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
• At least 21 years of age
• Ability to obtain and/or maintain a Terminal Handler's License from the Illinois Gaming Board

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Frequently required to stand, sit, walk, talk, and hear
• Continually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity, including use of a keyboard
• Frequently required to lift/push weights up to 1100 pounds
• Frequently required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel, or crawl
• Specific vision abilities required for this job include close, distance, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust or focus
• Exposure to hot and/or humid conditions and moving mechanical parts
• Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
