Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Line Cook to join our team at Bluebird Hunter Lodge. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook food to order, ensuring that all dishes meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Manage kitchen inventory, including ordering and receiving supplies, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to ensure seamless service and high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Participate in menu planning and development, and contribute to the creation of new recipes and dishes.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience as a Line Cook in a high-volume kitchen.
  • Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, including grilling, roasting, sautéing, and frying.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, and maintain a calm and professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and management.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary degree or certification preferred.
