Quality Assurance Supervisor

The Quality Assurance Supervisor is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance within the center. This role involves overseeing the implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensuring that the facility is always prepared for inspections. The supervisor will prepare and present regular reports to management regarding the quality status and compliance metrics.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the center is consistently prepared for inspections by managing adherence to SOPs and compliance policies.
- Oversee the Quality Control program, including calibrations, compliance monitoring, and analysis of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Lead and mentor a team of quality assurance professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement strategies that enhance operational efficiency and customer service.
- Provide constructive feedback to staff to improve adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and address any compliance issues promptly.
- Act as the primary quality representative during supplier, customer, and regulatory audits, ensuring effective communication and resolution of findings.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations.
- Ensure compliance with all HR policies and promote fair treatment of all employees.
- Notify appropriate personnel of any events that may impact product safety or quality.
- Lead investigations into quality deviations, implementing corrective and preventive actions as necessary.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's Degree in a scientific or related field is preferred.
- A minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience or relevant quality experience is required.
- Completion of a leadership development program is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of government and industry regulations.
- Ability to manage financial responsibilities of the center.
- Proficiency in English is required.
- Ability to make impactful decisions affecting operations and services.
- Experience in preparing comprehensive reports and presentations.
- Exposure to hazardous materials and the need for Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Occasional travel may be required.
