Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager II to join our team at Fluor. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of projects from initiation to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement project execution plans, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and Fluor's Operating System Requirements (OSR)
  • Collaborate with project directors and teams to prepare project baselines, schedules, and resource allocation plans
  • Monitor and control project progress, identifying and mitigating risks, and ensuring timely completion
  • Manage project finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure effective communication and collaboration
Requirements
  • Accredited four-year degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience
  • Seven years of work-related experience in project management, or a combination of education and experience
  • Proven track record of successful project delivery, with a focus on quality, safety, and customer satisfaction
  • Strong technical knowledge, including project management methodologies, scheduling, and cost control
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Project management certification, such as PMP
  • Experience working in international locations and diverse cultural environments
  • Knowledge of project design, engineering, procurement, material management, construction, commissioning, start-up, and turnover processes
  • Understanding of project controls, including scheduling, progress measurement, risk assessment, and cost control
