Your Responsibilities:

As an Early Childhood Education Assistant, you will collaborate with our Lead Teachers to empower children to develop independence and self-confidence. This position serves as an excellent entry point into the Montessori approach and early childhood education, with potential for advancement into Lead Teacher roles through our MACTE-accredited Montessori training program.

Position Details:

We offer both full-time and part-time roles. The full-time position consists of an 8-hour paid day, totaling 40 hours per week, while the part-time role involves a 5-6 hour paid day, amounting to 25-30 hours weekly. Compensation ranges from $17 to $20 per hour, based on experience, with flexibility required between 7 AM and 6 PM. Full-time employees enjoy benefits, including a generous 75% tuition discount for up to two children enrolled in our programs.

Ideal Candidates Will Have:
  • Experience with children aged 0-6
  • CDA or Associate's Degree with Early Childhood Education coursework
  • Maryland Credentials (45/90 hour coursework)
  • Knowledge of young children's developmental stages
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-service orientation
  • A willingness to learn and grow professionally
  • A valid negative TB test (within the last 12 months) or willingness to obtain one
  • A valid CPR certification or willingness to become certified
