About the Role

As the Managing Director, Federal Law Enforcement & Civilian, you will contribute to a variety of areas including:

  • Provide strategic and operational leadership to all types of field sales roles and PM's to aggressively meet sales, revenue retention, and organizational objectives.
  • Design and develop strategies to increase market share and grow short- and long-term business through management within the territory.
  • Prospect in the assigned territory for new-to-TRSS accounts and leads new business proposals.
  • Partner with other Thomson Reuters business units to facilitate new sales.
  • Keep up to date on competitive activities in accounts and communicate information to TRSS leadership.
  • Direct and manage Proof-of-Concepts (POCs) to prospective clients in close coordination with the TRSS Sales and delivery teams including the analysis and product/technical business units.

About You

You're a good fit for the role of Managing Director, Federal Law Enforcement & Civilian if you meet the following criteria:

  • S. national security clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of government sales or account/program management experience.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Government sales and account management experience required.
  • Public records/open-source data experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of the government acquisition process.
  • Ability to travel to meetings and customer locations.
  • Proficient in MS Office/internet.
