Project Superintendent

CoreBuilt Contracting, Inc. is a dynamic and expanding General Contractor based in Evanston, IL, specializing in a variety of commercial construction projects, from minor interior renovations to comprehensive new builds.

We are seeking a qualified Superintendent with a minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial construction. The ideal candidate will be ready to take on a leadership role in overseeing field operations, which includes scope assessment, budget analysis, subcontractor selection, project scheduling, and full execution and closeout of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate resources for construction projects.
• Monitor project timelines and ensure adherence to schedules.
• Guarantee that all work is completed within budget and meets specifications.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between clients and project teams regarding on-site changes.
• Proactively identify and address any discrepancies or issues arising from existing conditions.
• Select and oversee the work of vendors, contractors, or subcontractors.
• Organize project materials and scheduling tasks to support assigned projects.
• Track progress against key milestones and budgetary constraints.
• Prepare and present daily and weekly reports to both internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Actively facilitate work on-site to ensure timely project completion.
• Maintain a clean and organized job site at all times.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial construction.
• Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints across all trades.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Demonstrated ownership of assigned responsibilities.
• Strong problem-solving skills and creativity.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Hands-on approach to managing construction sites.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with Procore, Microsoft Office Suite, and OneDrive/365 is advantageous.
• Multilingual skills are a plus.
