About the Role


We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Therapist to join our team at Yamhill County Health & Human Services. This is a unique opportunity to work in a community-based setting, providing mental health services to children and their families. As a Mental Health Therapist, you will be responsible for providing direct treatment, performing integrated behavioral health assessments, and service planning and implementation. You will also be part of a team rotation schedule, providing crisis coverage during regular business hours.

About the Job

This is a full-time position, working 20 hours per week in our McMinnville clinic and 20 hours per week in a school setting. You will work closely with a team of professionals to provide mental health services to children and their families. You will be responsible for client engagement, crisis support, diagnosing, direct treatment, and service planning and implementation. You will also be required to participate in a team rotation schedule, providing crisis coverage during regular business hours.



Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a master's degree from an accredited school in social work, clinical psychology, or a related field. You will also need to have one year of experience as a Human Services Specialist I, or a satisfactory equivalent combination of experience and training. You must also qualify as QMHP, CADC, or QMRP to work in respective fields. You will need to have an NPI number or the ability to obtain one upon employment. May require licensing.



Preferred Qualifications

We are looking for a Mental Health Therapist who has training and experience in evidence-based practices and experience providing intensive mental health and addictions services in a community-based setting. You will need to be able to prepare concise and complete client treatment progress records. You will also need to possess excellent skills in organization, paperwork management, and communication. You will need to be able to interact with co-workers, clients, and the public in a courteous, professional manner.

Work Environment
