As a key member of our healthcare team, you will deliver high-quality nursing care to patients on our special care unit, ensuring their physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being.
Responsibilities- Deliver quality nursing care to patients on the special care unit, utilizing expert knowledge and skills to meet their unique needs.
- Assign duties, instruct, and provide clinical supervision to CNAs, promoting a collaborative and supportive work environment.
- Chart patient information accurately and timely, monitoring and reporting changes in patient condition as needed.
- Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients, families, and colleagues.
- Assist in the evacuation of patients during emergencies, demonstrating dependability and regular attendance.
- Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, using reasoning skills and good judgment to resolve issues.
- Attended an accredited LPN program and currently licensed/registered in applicable State.
- One (1) year geriatric nursing experience preferred, with CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation.
- Expert knowledge in field of practice, with ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
- Knowledgeable of practices and procedures, laws, regulations, and guidelines governing functions in the post-acute care facility.
