**Job Summary**

Smith Crossing is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Housekeeper/Laundry Aide. As a key member of our housekeeping staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our residential areas.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Clean and disinfect various surfaces, furnishings, equipment, and areas throughout the building.
  • Thoroughly clean and disinfect resident rooms immediately following discharge and prior to new arrivals.
  • Assure an adequate supply of clean linen and personal clothing are available to residents and staff.
  • Pick up soiled linen and personal resident laundry and transport to the laundry.
  • Operate washers and dryers properly, fold and store clean personal items and linens, and deliver them to residents and staff.

**Requirements:**

  • Must be a team player while being able to work independently.
  • History of excellent attendance.
  • Must enjoy being of service to senior adults.
  • Maintains a neat, professional appearance.
  • Housekeeping and/or Laundry experience preferred.
