Philanthropic Liaison

As a key ambassador for the Abbie DeLoach Foundation, you will play a vital role in fostering relationships between the foundation and the communities it serves. Your responsibilities will include:

• Represent the foundation in the community and with partner organizations to promote its mission and philanthropic efforts.
• Coordinate with community partners to select annual scholarship recipients and plan successful events, such as the Annual Scholarship Luncheon.
• Collaborate with the Director of Social Media to increase the foundation's visibility, promote its philanthropy, and connect with relevant groups and individuals.
• Maintain and update the foundation's website content and academic calendar timeline.
• Manage the planning and execution of the True Blue 5K/Abbie's Adventure Race and the Hands-Free for Abbie Campaign.

Qualifications for this role include:

• A deep commitment to the foundation's mission and values.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and work a part-time flexible schedule.
• Proficiency with Google Drive and Microsoft Office.

The Abbie DeLoach Foundation was established by Jimmy DeLoach in memory of his daughter, Abbie, who lost her life in a tragic highway crash in 2015. The foundation's mission is to continue Abbie's legacy of selfless service, generosity, and compassion for all. To date, the foundation has awarded over $1.47 million in scholarships and invested in various initiatives to support women's empowerment.
